Mission Summary
With a new year now upon the Federation, the Romulan Tal’Shiar create a diplomatic incident, at first, it is not known that it is them, it only becomes clear when a Section 31 agent contacts the Chief Intelligence Officer with the information and proof. This incident happened on Sierra Starbase 39, which involved the Hydarasnz system.
That system had been a hotbed of Pirate activity and took a lot of Federation lives, it took two operations to take the system from the Pirates. Now hostile forces have once again entered the Hydaransz system and overwhelmed the allied forces in that system.
The Hydaransz System is a large source of Deuterium and Dilithium, the Nor class Starbase that is in a clear space of an asteroid field managed to get a call out before the connection went silent. The two inner Class M planets had recently been colonized, but even they have gone quiet. The rifles on the Tomcat are sent to retake the system, additional troops would be allocated to the operation, which would fall under the overall control of Marine Captain Patrick Jackson.
The rest of the crew will be dealing with the diplomatic incident and what follows it the Tomcat will be assigned a temporary ambassador and his Security Officer who is known to most of the crew but their presence in the Mira Sector will be a surprise.
