The Themistocles was docked on the opposite side of the starbase from the Tomcat. The crews' personal affects had all been transfered to there along with the supplies for the next mission.

Vivian was set to go get her office setup to how she wanted it and to check out the surgical bay. She walked the corridors of the starbase until she got to the docking hatch.

oO Wow, I have not served on a Sovereign class, this ship looks huge compared to the Tomcat. Oo She thought to herself as she walked the gangplank to the ship. Upon arriving actually onboard she felt an eerie chill. The ship was on standby with only the basics of life-support activated. There was a chill and the lighting was at minimal. She was not bothered by that, but he felt that she was somewhere she should not be. However, she was never one to hold back and felt she needed to get her work area in order.

She arrived at Sickbay and was in awe of size compared to any ship she served on especially the Tomcat. "Computer, Bring lighting to full." The computer did not respond. "Computer, Bring Lighting to Full, authorization Lieutenant Vivian Corsair, alpha tango charlie six six nine."

"Welcome Dr. Corsair. The Themistocles welcomes you. Staff was not expected until next week. Is there an emergency?" The computer replied.

"No emergency, just wanted to get things arranged and unpacked." Vivian replied.

"Sickbay is online and ready for your needs." The Computer stated. "Biobeds are in standby, Medical library is at the ready, statis chambers are in standby, surgical assistant is in standby."

"Computer, what is the Surgical Assistant?" Vivian asked of the computer.

"This ship has a holographic surgical assistant for helping the surgeon when needed." The computer replied. "This program will merely need to know what parameters the surgeon needs and it will assist in surgery. The surgical assist was created when Voyager returned from the Delta Quadrant and the data from the Emergency Medical Hologram was analyzed."

"Well, that is a nice touch." Vivian stated. "Now Computer, can you please tell me if all the crew files from the Tomcat have been uploaded?"

"Ma'am, the Computer core of the Tomcat has been uploaded and all medical files are at your disposal." replied the computer.

Looking over the computer's screen of the layout of Sickbay, Vivian then saw that there was a secondary medical section on deck seven. She looked at the schematics and realized that she would be better to locate her office there.

"Computer, are there assignments for the deck 7 medical space or is it good for medical use?" She asked of the computer.

"The secondary medical space is prepped and set up for use as a overflow for the main sickbay. The secondary space has four bio beds, two surgical bays, two intensive care bays, access to the morgue and medical supply storage. There are two office spaces and a nursing station." The computer replied.

"Computer, I will be making my office in the secondary medical space. Please note this for the directory and I will move my gear there. Thank you." Vivian directed to the computer and then headed for that locaiton.

Vivian then found what was to be her office and looked out the porthole to the vastness of space. She thought to herself that she was a lucky woman to be the lead surgeon on a starship. She got to work unpacking a few of the crates she had sent to the ship.

She worked for about and hour and got her office all set and ready for the mission ahead. She then exited Sickbay and started to walk to her assigned quarters. Once she arrived at what would be her quarters she entered to find all her crates stacked in the living area. She set out to unpack. Lucky for her she did not have much in the means of personal affects.

After about an hour of unpacking she was all set up in her quarters. So she sat down on her bed and wondered what her parents would think of her accomplishments. She then picked up the picture of her family and shed a tear. Then she stood up and exited her quarters and walked the corridors to the gangplank and walked back to the station to return to her temporary quarters there.

She had not served with the crew of the Tomcat for very long but she hoped that the upcoming mission would allow her to have a bonding with the crew that she did not feel she had yet earned.
