Jane Sinclair, personal log, supplemental.

*Siiiiigh*. It feels so good to be clean again.

The state the Captain was in...they were just letting her fester in dirt and filth. And the temperature...at least she had no risk of hypothermia. If we hadn't arrived when we did though... the humanoid body can only last so long like that. If the internal injuries didn't do her in, infection would have. Thankfully the antibiotics are working.

The combat uniforms do nothing to keep the dirt out. They're all about flexibility and stopping at least some damage. But they're by no means sterile, and they don't help with the heat. I swear I lost half a kilo just from sweating. Before the surgeries I had to practically peel myself out of that thing.

*Mmmmmm* Computer, has anyone reserved this holodeck after me?

=/\= Affirmative. =/\=

Damn.

I don't think I ever want to leave.

I've been reading about the situations this crew has found itself in over the past few years. They've found themselves in a few rough spots but always managed to pull through.

They also don't leave people behind. This time it was Fleet Captain Somers but last year a number of crew were taken by Orion slavers. In both cases, the Tomcat and her crew went to the rescue.

It's good to know that they live by the code that no one is left behind. If I'm ever lost or captured, I can draw strength in knowing that someone is coming for me. And it's the least I can do to return the favour. And it feels good, rescuing, doesn't it?

*Sigh*. Computer, save this program to my personal file. These exact parameters.

And end log.
