Season 2 Episode 1: The New Frontier
Location: Shuttlecraft Merlot/USS Tomcat
Timeline: Mission Day 1 Before Briefing

Maia got the message from Starfleet command cancelling her leave and ordering her back to the Tomcat.
She had buried her parents who were killed by pirates while on vacation. She had then buried on Deimos the second moon of Mars as they both lived on the Martian colony of Nova Planitia. As war heroes of the dominion war, they were accorded full military honours. Maia also saw both her sisters as well as the rest of the family. She had been gone for two weeks. When recalled she has issued this warp shuttle to rendezvous. The pirates had still not been brought to justice, however Starfleet security was on the case.
Maia was pretty busted up over the whole affair.

Sheela handled the call coming in from the Shuttlecraft Merlot. =/\=Shuttlecraft Merlot, this is Tomcat. Received coordinates and meeting time. Will pass up the information. Squeakies, =/\= Sheela spoke softly. She leant back and sent a copy to Captain Somers Console as a priority to be read.
Maia landed the shuttle with 15 minutes left to get to the briefing.

Jasmine was sitting at her desk in the Ready Room when her computer lit up, Lieutenant Sheela had sent on a communication from her First Officer, accessing it she smiled. "Well here we go again!" she of course was referring to the upcoming new mission.
