Mission: S3 Episode 5: Diplomatic Incident/Hydaransz Again (Main)
Location: Armory/Transport Vessel
Timeline: MD30

Ze had left the bridge not 5 minutes ago, he was now heading directly for his office which housed his pre-packed holdall for the mission, he had packed it the night before. All of his medical supplies, spare phaser, tricorder and everything he could need for dangerous mission. He walked in grabbed the bag, and walked over to his replicator “Computer fresh brewed italian coffee please milk and two sugars” The replicator whooshed and the cup arrived, he grabbed it and walked out of his office pressing his comm badge “Assult Team one please make your way to the armory and from there we will head to the transport vessel armory 10 minutes dont be late we have to collect weapons and equipment” he said taking a swig from his coffee making his way to the armoury.

Zellers was half slipping over her tank top while hopping into her undies. She pulled her hair back in a ponytail and then slipped up her uniform. She splashed her face with warm water.
“Tyler. Get up!” She grumpily called from the washroom, aside from her bedroom where her male companion had slept the night.

“You are leaving?” Tyler sat up as Zellers ordered the quarter's lights to be full.

“Yes, now get dressed and get the hell out. We have a job to do.” She was not one for sweet talk in the morning. She even wasn’t one to let her man of the nightstick around after the fact.

“When will I see you again.” Tyler half grinned, half surprised as he shucked on his pants.

“You’ll know when I need you again.” At this point, Zellers was biting into a granny smith apple as she checked her face once more in the mirror and then reviewed her orders on her PADD from her Chief of Security, Ze.

A large sigh was met as she stood at the doorway. “For God's sake, you are still here. Get the F out now. I'm in a rush.” Tiffany threw the rest of his clothes into the corridor; Tyler hopping out and placing on his socks.

Zellers didn’t look back as he looked at her wristwatch. Tiffany had a few minutes to stop and grab a mug of coffee in the mess and then suit up in the armory. Today was going to be gritty.

She arrived carrying a kit bag filled with medical equipment. Her name was Ensign Katherine Mayhew, they needed someone in medical and well she was one who was assigned. "Hi I'm here, medical, where do you need me?? The strawberry blond woman asked looking at those that were gathering together.

“Hello, Mayhew. Ensign Zellers.” She extended her slender hand in a friendly gesture. “I’m new to the Tomcat as well. Security.” She then looked at her own gold uniform. Right. Zellers. Your uniform shows your department. Oh my god. So embarrassed.

Tiffany kept her phaser rifle in locked mode and checked that it was fully charged once more. As well, she had a hand phaser and a knife in her belt.

Alexi was looking into the abduction of the Ambassador when two things happened. She received a notice that she was being placed on an assault team followed shortly thereafter by a call to report for said team. "Well, I guess this will have to wait," she said to herself as she saved her work so far, downloaded it to a PADD and then logged off her terminal. She was close too the armory so the walk did not take her all that long. She entered and nodded to the others who had already arrived.

Tosrol Ze had been sat at the desk in the armory pouring over the current intelligence from Thyra, when people started entering the room he waved and smiled "Ok ladies and gentlemen collect your packs please and be seated after I've ran through briefing we will all be transported to our transport vessel and we will resume our mission" he said with a wide smile "If you need drinks or whatever get them now before I start"

Mayhew shook Tiffany's hand giving a smile then took a seat next to her. She was ready to go. She clutched onto the medical kit bag, taking comfort from it. She was slightly worried but still was going to be here as was needed.

Alexi barely nodded at the order and went to get into the required gear and grab the pack that was assigned to her for the mission. Watching as other members of the team shuffled in, grabbed packs, and found places to listen. She moved into the back of the group, looking around to see if she had met anyone else on the team. When Ze began to talk she turned her eyes towards him to listen to the briefing.

Ze saw everyone stationed at there places "Ok ladies and gents I'm gonna be team lead on this one sellers knows me and So does Michelle as I'm there Department head, "he said stepping forward, "we're assault team one we get in deduce what the hell has happened an get the evidence we need" he said looking around "You packs are all against that wall and weapons are in the lock up lets move people we ain't got the time the ambassador hasn't got the time either so let's move it people" he said grabbing his pack.

Tiffany nodded in acknowledgment of the orders that her superior had given. She got up from her spot and shucked on her tactical backpack. Taking a tricorder, a few sensor delineators, and a high-speed data node connector that would contact any physical computational devices, allowing the team to collect any pertinent data on the Ambassador's abduction.

Suited up, Zellers locked the harness and then reminded herself under her breath. “You're good. You're solid. That’s why you don’t get killed.”

Mayhew took a look at Tiffany,"I believe you. And I'm gonna stick by you when I can." She rose up to get herself even more kitted up, then remarked. "Okay I'm ready as well." moving back to where Tiffany stood.

Alexi moved to the wall and began to adorn the tactical gear. After what little she had seen from her investigation so far, she was certain this mission would not be quite as simple as Ze made it sound. She released the tension from her shoulders, gave a quick nod to herself, "Ready as I ever am!" She said to herself as she picked up the weapons and got in line with the others.

Ze had everything he needed, pack phaser and everything else "Ok ladies and gents lets get to the hanger" He said as he clicked his comm badge "Ze to O'Donnaghue Spool up that warp drive we'll see you in a few" he said gripped tight to his gun "Engineering Site to Site transport Security office to Hanger Deck" he spoke as he looked around at the team around him.

Energizing on the Hanger Deck, Tiffany looked around. There was an average amount of personnel buzzing about. Turning and following Ze, they were led to the craft.

Ze looked at everyone around "Theres our transport" he said pointing at the rather large vessel close to the corner "O'Donnaghue Spool her Up please" He said as he walked over to the transport as he saw the engines light up "Time to ship out guys and make it snappy" he said gesturing towards the back entrance.

Mayhew filed in after the others getting into her spot. "Okay so I guess here we go?" the woman commented, taking a seat.

Tiffy buckled into her side wall seated drop-type vessel. Ensuring she wouldn’t end up flying across and hitting a bulkhead if they entered enemy fire.

“Let’s do this!” Ensign Zellers raised her hand out in a high five… Noting that nobody seemed to be waiting to extend their hands to high-five her back. “Uh…. Ok. I’m hanging here.” She looks at the officers. Hearing the extremely powerful plasma engines roar to life outside of the craft excited her, her eyes lighting up.

Mayhew reached up and gave Tiffany a high five. "Uh sorry didn't mean to leave you hanging." giving a wry smile.

"Let me know when we are fully loaded," Serina said as she completed the pre-flight check. This ship was different and it was on the order of a typical drop ship the military would use. Quickly familiarizing herself with the controls, she smiled. It was very similar to a ship she flew years ago. oOthis is going to be simple to fly Oo thinking to herself.

Zellers smiled at Mayhew. "Why thank you, kind Sir." She tried to bow in a court jester move, only to be held back by her lockdown straps.

Hearing Lieutenant Donovan up front call for a signal. Zellers frowned, seeing as everyone was indeed in the drop vessel, at least she had thought. "Uh. Like, we're all here now?! There doesn't seem to be anyone around... waiting." Tiffany added.

Alexi, being unfamiliar with almost everyone else on this mission, followed the group and found a seat to secure herself. She listened to the chatter around her and looked around as someone asked if everyone was here. "I certainly hope we are all here," she murmured quietly to herself, "even if that's inaccurate there's not much I can do about it." She looked at Ze, waiting to hear exactly what was expected and where they would be deploying.

Tiffany was high time to get on the go and wanted to break down as the mission was minutes away from being enacted to details. "Yes, Lieutenant Ze, what exactly are the specifics here?" She said tossing her hair to the side.

"Ok, hold on to your panties ladies, and away we go," Serina said as the shuttle slowly headed out for it's destination.

CPO Michelle knew they were being sent to rescue the ambassador based on information she had been able to retrieve from various sources. She was also aware they were about to head straight into a hornet's nest. But she kept that to herself. She didn't have the specifics and that was what was most needed right now. How would they infil, and exfil once they found the ambassador, hopefully still able to move under his own power.

Zellers waited for the transport and the operation to start.

Mayhew she felt the movement of the ship. "Here we go." she said quietly, they were away from the ship, she hoped that they will all come back from this mission.

Holding on to the overhead drop bars, Zellers breathed in and out. The vessel was now into the perimeters of the starship. It wouldn’t be long before the order was given. “One Mojito. Two Mojito. Three Mojito…”

Alexi triple checked her gear again as she anticipated the next phase of their mission. Infiltrating the identified location of the base where the Ambassador had been taken. She was certain this was not going to be easy and gave a silent prayer once more that they would all return alive. Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves she knew in the next few moments it would be "GO" time.

Mayhew had braced herself, the ship they had been in landed, it was go time! What would await them when they went to get the ambassador.

------------------------------------------
Sometime later, Mayhew leaned her head back against the bulkhead of the ship. She was worn out, her companions looked worn out, some injured both mentally and physically. All were exhausted. They got the ambassador but it ended up being a recovery mission instead of a rescue mission. Her own body had scrapes, cuts, bruises and some of her hair was singed. She could feel grit on her teeth, Mayhew was looking forward to getting a shower and hopefully get a good scrub down. She leaned her elbows on her knees covering her face, and wept. She wept due to the stress and the let down of her adrenaline. They were now heading back, away from the hell they had found themselves in. She was looking forward to having some personal time off, and she was going to get rip roaring drunk, just to give herself some relief from this.

Lifting her head from her hands Mayhew uttered these words. "I am glad we're away from there and I am looking forward to going home."

CPO Michelle had carried the Ambassador's body to the exfil with some assistance from other team members. Now that she was on the transport all she wanted was to close her eyes and push away the events that had transpired. In her mind the mission had failed because they had not gotten there in time. She let her head fall back against the bulkhead and felt the crash as the adrenaline left her system. that was when the pain started. At first it wasn't that bad, but by the time they were back on 'friendly' territory the pain was near unbearable.

Tiffany had helped to carry along the Ambassador with Michelle concerned that she was pulling beyond her weight, given her wound. "You've wounded Michelle; you need medical attention." Zellers struggled as they carried the somewhat overweight Federation Ambassador through the corridor.

Alexi grimaced slightly as she struggled along with Tiffany to settle the dead weight. "It must be a flesh wound, doesn't hurt. I'll see the doc when we get back if that'll make you happy."

"Yes. I would be happy to see you get Medical Attention." Zellers nodded struggling under the weight of the Federation Diplomat.

"I promise, Ensign," the MCPO replied tiredly, "As soon as I transfer the Deceased to the Graves Unit." After releasing the dead weight of the corpse Alexi wanted just to rest. She would deal with everything else later. "Besides, Ze is in much more need of medical care than I am."

"Acknowledged." Zellers breathed with some of her hair flying to the right. =/\= Zellers to Lieutenant Ze. We are ready to fly this coupe, over. =/\=
