Starbase 54 Engineering Macro/Micro Analysis Mechanics
DTSO Officer, Lt. Leland Hawksley - Ongoing REPORT

Working in the starbase's engineering technical apparatus, Leland entered through the doors. He sat down, pulling up visualizations. They focused on some standard storage modules for the Tomcat decking layout.

As the production line now had backups awaiting installments, these operations could not happen yet, as Leland and Sharpe had to sign off on Federation Engineering Technical and Trials.
As it were, the Tomcat wasn’t planning its first trial run with impulse engines until at least June of next year.
He went into overtime hours on his shift on the first day.

“Alright, baby, that’s about it. I think I’m about to hit it out.” He recorded to the station and reported his continual progress reports to Commander Sharpe, who was still working.
In another few weeks, several more decks would be super-sealed to the main station vacuum operations, feed, and environmental computers, which would be linked up.

The Tomcat was slowly coming back to life as if waking from surgery. Her systems were slowly returning online after each Sector's re-initialization of computer hardware.

Deck 18. This is dockmaster Hawksley peg leg. Leland joked rather harshly about his titanium-figured legging hardware. Leland didn’t get a prosthetic, just a metal foot leg—the excellent type to run his ass off if he needed.

“Leland. Everything is looking excellent. Your new prosthesis is performing as I have expected. You have been taking it through its paces…” The Doctor Cunningham grinned.

“Hey. Use it or lose it."

“Of Course, Leland.” Doctor Cunningham relaxed back in her seat, her fingers placed above in a triangle, as she felt the heat from the green tea in the teacup on her desk. Taking a sip, she offered Leland prior a cup of tea.

“How is your back? The metal micro fragments have been successfully chemically purged from your system, which should have had much time to heal,” Dr. Cunningham stated.

“You’re the one with the tricorder doctor.” Hawksley chuckled with a cocky grunt. “It's cool. I altered my engineering tricorder for trace metals on a bio synth app. But can’t make heads or tails of it, the imaging.” Leland shrugged, looking around the medical office. It was decorated tastefully, if not relaxing.

Leland never understood that sort of living. You live minimalistic to the 99.9th %. Then, you live an existence that is nothing for collecting, saving, and storing. “Where does Dr. Cunningham store her tools? Her physical emergency logs are all designed and computers. We must have backups. In engineering, you're just not going to have a main core. I’ve seen the supposed ‘rarity’ of the situation on multiple occasions.” Hawksley bragged.

“Anyways. Thanks, Doctor!” Leland jumped up off the biobed plant hard on the deck.
