[ON]

Maggie was a little nervous. She and Todd were trying to be a thing, and in his culture, it was more or less a tradition that they had to get permission from his parents to even DATE. This blew her mind-only her mother was still alive, and the woman could care less about how Maggie lived her life, so long as Maggie wasn't doing illegal things.

Most other women would take pains to impress their lover's parents, but Maggie wasn't most women. She was Maggie, and she didn't know another way to be except her bombastic self. She was currently wearing a tight, black pleather miniskirt, a matching, equally tight leopard print blouse/tank top number, and heels so high she could barely walk. On was her red lipstick but her blonde hair was curled and brushed, so it was fluffy and pretty. She didn't care much what other people thought of her-she just lived her life. Her outfit was more suitable for the club than a chi-chi place like El Auria, but it was what she liked. She truly liked to dress like the Nanny from that OLLLDD Earth TV show. That woman was an EXCELLENT dresser, and about as classy as Maggie. In truth, it hid a self-esteem issue, but Maggie was good at lying to herself.

"Are you ready?" She asked Todd.

Todd smiled. "I am ready for you," Todd replied to Maggie. He could not believe he had arrived at his matrimonial date so early in his long-term life. Often, it had taken hundreds of years for El-Aurian to begin dating.

Todd was different. He respected his family's El-Aurian traditions as long as they ensured his parents had met their Governmental Obligations as El-Aurian Ambassadors on Earth—one of the hundreds. This only helped them keep their jobs through their extra social, extra spiritual traditions.

Overseeing his parents' agreement for Maggie and Todd to date each other, their approval would be relatively easy to get from his El Aurian Ambassador parents as long as Maggie was just herself.

As dressed as she was, Hewitt was blown away. Maggie was the brightest supernova in the universe, the most gorgeous female that an El-Aurian of the Helk’tor Family codified.

Maggie stood at the grounds of the El-Aurians, Helk’tor Family, as they accepted Todd and Maggie, bowing their heads forward and being cleansed with ice waters from each planet.

Hewitt grinned cocky and looked at Maggie covered in spiritual Nordic ice water from El-Auria and then from Andorian home world, entire of ice and fire.

Maggie was nervous but she thought she was handling it well. She wasn't GOOD with people in general-she was loud and flamboyant and flirty. She would do her best to not flirt with Todd's dad, though. She assumed he'd appreciate it. They were greeted, and then doused with water. She had recoiled but then stood quietly, mouthing a quiet "what the HELL?" in Todd's direction. Her hair was going to FRIZZ.

Todd blushed at the odd enough ceremonial aspects of the right to date—he truly appreciated Maggie's gestures and generosity to his parents, who were an extreme sect of the El Aurians. Todd would only go through this to advance a relationship with someone he has confidence, interest, lust, sex, possibly that other word in time, this is a date, and motherhood for his children.

“Thank you so much…” He cringed as Maggie's face was splashed with water right in her face. Like how?

“Can we please…” Hewitt turned, growling at the others, his El Aurian youth of nothing. “Not do that to my wife.”

“Baby…. That's it!” He pulled her forward for a deep, wet close, body-to-body warmth. They felt each other's bodies pressed up to each other as Todd grunted. Tasting Maggie's lip gloss, there was something there…. And the perfume she was wearing was… God, to him. It was intoxicating!

Breaking the kiss. “Breathing, Todd released Maggie with his hands on either side of her face. Hot damn! He had to kiss the hot Human Female!

Maggie laughed. "It's Ok, I just...wasn't prepared," she said. She was accepting of others' cultures, even if she didn't understand it. She was only mildly annoyed-more or less because her makeup might smudge than the actual water. "Is my makeup still ok?" She asked.

She kissed him, too, with a passion. She didn't mind if people looked; why hide feelings that were perfectly natural?

Hewitt smiled, nodding his head from side to side. There could have been some black shadow running downward, but at this moment, who would complain, let alone notice? He then eagerly took greedily another long deep kiss from Maggie once more...

Well, Todd did. But he was just odd that way. “You look so.” He swore, “…hot! I want to bang you so bad right now!!”

Todd gripped her hand tighter, his engineering-calloused hand strong, as he nodded and walked out of his parents' virtual El Aurian Inaugural Dating Consent for Maggie. He thought he was going to die!

But he lived—enough to shut down that program as fast as it was energized to creation.

“I hope your parents and close friends and family don’t mind. They will receive a video of our kiss commitment in their email boxes. Even people on the Tomcat.”

Maggie shook her head. "My mother won't care," she said. "She's my only living family," Maggie explained. "And I don't actually care what anyone else thinks," she said. "In case you didn't notice, I don't exactly do what people think I should do." She shrugged. She had the self-confidence to behave however she saw fit to in any particular circumstance. For now, though, she understood she needed to be herself, but more serious, of course.

Hewitt nodded, listening to Maggie blankly point out her view on life and behaving, not behaving, and living to the beat of your drum. Leland didn’t have many friends on the Tomcat except for the engines and thus didn’t need to put up fronts. He was no-nonsense, as an El-Aurian over 100 still finding out things from his isolated society.

“I embrace your quirks. Your sayings, your attitude. It makes you, you Maggie!” Todd placed his hand on the side of her shoulder and then released it.

She smiled again. "Thank you," she said. "And same," she said. "So what should I expect for this...ceremony?!" She asked.

"That was It!" Hewitt slapped his hands together. "We may court each other now. I... " Hewitt got down to one knee and bowed his head, the tall El Aurian repeating some ancient text Hewitt knew as scripture... And then he reached for Maggie's hand gently... He kissed her hand, his eyes watching the beauty of her gorgeous smile, which was so innocent yet so mischievous at times. Hewitt reached into his dress coat pocket, his family, his parents, and his El Aurian extended family, all watching from El Auria Prime.

"Maggie, will you accept my Ring of Intent?" His mic near his mouth reported his Earthly El-Aurian engagement to the rest of El-Auria, seen as a significant event for Earth-El-Aurian relations...

There was a gasp in the audience on the comms as the audience back on El-Auria startled and gasped in anticipation.

Maggie blushed a little bit. She wasn't really USED to public displays of affection, preferring instead to do that kind of thing behind closed doors. She had a reputation to uphold, after all. Still. It was nice, and she was happy.

She smiled, and nodded. She leaned in a bit to speak into the microphone, as well.

"Yes," she said.

Was it..too soon?! She didn't know. She didn't care.

“You’ve made the happiest El-Aurian to have left its Soil. Maggie Lefebvre!” Hewitt’s eyes twinkled with anticipation of things to come, the mischief they could have together! They could do incredible things, given all holodeck for the short term.

“We will need Cat Sitters. We have lots to do together.”

The soft hum of the holodeck in the background painted a world of endless possibilities. Closing the feed, Hewitt felt Maggie's warmth radiate from her, drawing him closer. Damn it! Maggie was intoxicating to the relatively ‘young’ El-Aurian. Hewitt felt his body create an electric air with unspoken potential, a heady mix of laughter. Todd caught Maggs gaze.

Her blue eyes sparkled with curiosity and mischief that mirrored Hewitt's own.

They stood just inches apart, the virtual landscape fading into the background as he focused entirely on her. He could sense the fluttering of Maggs's heartbeat, matching the rhythm of his own. Their usual banter, which usually flowed so easily between them, quieted, the anticipation thickening the air.

“Maggie,” Todd said softly, his voice a breath against the silence. He leaned in, his heart racing as he searched her eyes for any sign of hesitation. Hewitt hesitated for just a heartbeat, savoring the moment, the intoxicating closeness. And then, unable to resist any longer, he closed the distance.

Hewitt's lips brushed against Maggie's, soft and tentative at first. Their kiss was electric, igniting something smoldering beneath the surface, a mixture of playful challenge and unguarded intimacy. He deepened the kiss, tilting his head as he pressed closer, feeling her respond in kind, a soft gasp escaping into the space between them.

The world around them melted away completely. Time lost its meaning as they explored the sensation—the taste of her lips mingling with the sweetness of adventure, the warmth of her body inviting him to take what he longed for. His hand found its way to the small of her back, drawing her in, their bodies fitting together perfectly as if they had been crafted for this moment.

Maggie leaned into the kiss, giving him her all. It was official! But now...she was panicked. It was too fast, too soon, too much. But then his hand found the small of her back, pulling her even closer and she lost her thoughts. After several moments, she broke the kiss gently, and took a small breath. She wanted to do it again, though!

Todd’s eyes met Maggie's brilliant blues, and his gaze had a quiet intensity. She could feel the warmth of his breath on her face. A thousand thoughts raced through Hewitt's mind. "I’ve been wanting to do that for 100 years."

Hewitt's hand was still resting on the small of her back, anchoring her in the moment. “Why don’t we take it slow together?" he suggested gently, not wanting to scare away the love that was forming for Maggie. Coming too quickly, it was scary.

They stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, the world around them fading away as they enjoyed being close, understanding unspoken promises and shared hopes.

Maggie closed her eyes for a moment. "Ok..." she murmured, as she agreed to just...be. It was hard for her to just be still. She was used to constantly going, moving, living. But this was...nice. For once, she was happy to just be silent and still, with her lover. It was new...but nice.

Todd took the cue and the moment to make his move. He transported them from the holodeck to his quarters...

- Todd's Quarters -

There away from the holodeck now... He cupped Maggie's soft cheeks in his hands and first let his larger lips gently rub along, the sweetness of Maggie tasting them, tasting their sensation as both lips touched.

Hewitt held on to Maggie's cheeks, this movement placing a sensual, passionate first kiss, longing and dreaming as each eye closed between them. Hewitt grunted in pleasure deeply as he moved forward, taking Maggie in his hands and then pressing her up against the wall, not breaking the kiss and then, only diving in for a deeper, wetter, passionate kiss as he breathed outward, pressing himself up against Maggie to the wall. Hewitt grunted in pleasure and lust as he discovered his lover, Maggie, so enticing and sexy as hell.

As the holoprogram slipped away, Maggie was transported back to the ship. She felt her body press against the wall, and then she moved beneath him to kiss him better.
