Jasmine was back on the bridge sitting in her chair, for now, all was good, then Ensign K'Muss arrived back on the bridge "ah Ensign, take the Security and Tactical station if you will, until further notice, you are Acting CoS, I had to remove Lieutenant Jekkar for neglection of duties and have confined him to his quarters for the duration" she said.

He nodded "understood Captain" K'Muss said and took up the tactical station.

With a nod to the Caitan, she tapped her Commbadge =/\= Somers to Dodd =/\=

=/\=Dodd here, captain. What can I do for you?=/\= Dodd replied.

=/\= The Away teams are on their way down to the shuttle bay, Commander Sterling is to be assigned the smaller shuttlecraft, while Commander Cahill will take the transport to New Xindus, is everything all set with the shuttles? =/\= Somers asked.

=/\= Yes, ma'am. The transport and shuttle are all ready to go. Supplies are completely loaded in the transport. All power cells are charged and all camouflaged tactics are in place and set to go. I have even installed a sensor array on the transport to help adjust the stealth capabilities while in flight if needed. As for the shuttle, they will have a way to scramble their emissions to help hide them if the stealth capabilities have any faults. I will be sure to explain the full process to Taggert and Sterling when they arrive. =/\= Dodd replied.

=/\= Acknowledged Lieutenant, let me know if anything changes =/\= Somers said.

Iria sat quiet, as she made notes on a PADD, it was daunting the number of folks that had started coming into the counselling offices over the last few days but not one of the folks that were supposed to yet. She made appointment notes and made sure she would be able to see Winchester when he decided to come in, to start his sessions. She quietly worried for the safety of Sterling and Cahill and the rest but was also quietly glad she was not going. She didn't want to risk seeing another Isisean. In this place, there wouldn't be very many of them and if they were around they were even more cautious then in the reality they normally came from.

Somers noted something off about Walon she turns to face the Counselor as the Tomcat settles into is designated position one Light-year out from the New Xindus sensor ring perimeter, all other stuff was in motion so she had time. "Lieutenant Walon, you seemed troubled, is there a problem?" Somers asked.

"Nothing wrong really, making notes and thinking mostly. Thank you for asking, Captain." it was silly to worry and she wasn't going to tell the Captain of her fears. There were others she could talk to and she did plan too, just not right at that moment.

Looking at Walon a moment longer "okay" Somers simply said and left it at that.

After finishing up with the Counselor she turns to her Security chief "Mr K'Muss, are there any Dominion or Remnant ships or probes in the area? I do not want the shuttle launches detected just yet if at all" Somers said.

He checks all scanners and compiles a basic report before looking up "no Captain, it is all clear" he responded.

"Excellent" Somers said then tapped her Commbadge =/\= Somers to Aldana =/\=

Doctor Aldana was at hir desk in sickbay with Sombra at hir feet. At the opening of the communiqué, Aldana tapped hir commbadge to activate it. Meanwhile, Sombra perked up beneath. =/\=This is Aldana go ahead captain.=/\=

From her position on the bridge Somers continued =/\= Has Commander Cahill briefed you on Lieutenant Winchester, his new arm and that he is both grounded and is required to attend some Counseling sessions?=/\=

=/\=Aye sir, and in a way, he's already had an impromptu one when he met Luuna and Sombra earlier today. Also, yes, you could say I might have been fully briefed to sir.=/\= Amiri responded try to discreetly inform hir captain s/he was fully aware of the situation.

=/\=Excellent, Lieutenant Winchester will be filling in for the moment for our hibernating Intelligence officer, he is allowed to do that duty and command the CAW from the ship if the CAW is needed, otherwise he is to remain in counseling and medical therapy, if Lieutenant Walon is unavailable to do his sessions, it would be appreciative you could do them!=/\= Somers said.

=/\=Understood captain, I'll do my best to do you proud.=/\=

=/\= Understood and excellent Doctor, Somers out =/\= Somers then closed the link, no sooner had she done this than her Commbadge once again sounded, sighing heavily she tapped it.

Cahill sent a message to the bridge, she tapped her Commbadge to make the connection to the Captain =/\=Bridge, Transport Challenger requesting permission to take off and do our mission Captain =/\= the Chief Medical Officer said.

=/\= Acknowledged Commander, safe journey, remember do not reveal that you are Starfleet to the remnant, the less they know the better things will be =/\= Somers responded, =/\= plan is to get in and out without being discovered. Also, plan radio silence to prevent detection. =/\=

=/\=Shuttle Challenger taking off, out. =/\= Cahill responded and closed the line.

Iria frowned as she finished her notes then looked at the Captain, her expression serious for once. "Captain, when you have a moment I would like to speak with you in your ready room." she could not believe the Captain had spoken over the Communication channel in front of the whole bridge of Winchester's injuries and needing counselling. It was not right and certainly needed addressing but she was going to make it worse by having the conversation with the Captain in front of the whole bridge crew. It would only make it more of a wrong.

Looking at Walon "Is it important? If not it can wait till after the away teams have returned safely" Somers said, but going by the serious look on Walon's face, the Counsellor considered it important.

Looking at the Captain "Nothing that cannot wait till later Captain" Walon answered.
