Shore Leave on SB51

Timeline: Shore Leave Day 1/2

- Engineering -

Nelson got his station cleared and requested from Chief Dodd his permission to officially start shore leave. He had been working steadily since they crossed into the parallel reality and he was ready to hit a hiking trail and enjoy some nature, even if it was holographic.) He then ran as fast as he could to catch Pril to ask her to join him on SB51.

Dodd had reached out ahead to Starbase 51 to secure an eight-hour spot on one of their holodecks for Nelson. He had already planned his adventure after Dodd told him what he did for him.

- Corridor -

As he approached Pril, he took a deep breath and made his request.

“Kara, please join me for a hike and picnic, I secured a holodeck on Starbase 51 for eight hours. And I want you to join me if you can. “ Nelson stated to her.

“Clay, I would really be happy to join you,” Pril replied. “But I really wanted to get a massage, a manicure and a pedicure as well as visit the boutique to get a new dress. “

"I would be happy to assist you with all you want to do after we enjoy a hike together. I would not mind getting a massage as well. We could hike have a picnic lunch and then get massages. Then I can take you to get a pedicure and manicure, while I get a hair cut, then I would enjoy watching you try on dresses and help you narrow down the options." Nelson replied with a full smile on his face.

"Well, how can I resist that offer or the man making it," Pril replied. "After all, it has been a long time since we spent time together. And a hike with you sounds like a wonderful sight to behold." She stated with a smile and a wink of her eye.

"Great!" Nelson responded back with a huge smile on his blushing face. "I will see you on Starbase 51 at 0800 tomorrow morning. Bring with you whatever you need for our hike, I will program in a picnic lunch and two water bottles. I am going to set up the hike to be a recreation of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains on Earth as they appeared in the early twentieth century only I will secure the holodeck from unwanted visitors and I will program the setting to be without any holo characters. We will be alone as you know I like it that way."

"Okay, Clay." Pril smiled wryly. "I know exactly what you mean. I can't wait to see the sights and enjoy the company in any way I can."

"Why I think you are up to something," Nelson replied smiling back at her.

"Well, I will see you at 0800 tomorrow morning outside holodeck three," Pril replied.

"Okay, but how did you know it was holodeck three?" Nelson curiously replied.

"I have my sources and I also have a surprise up my sleeve so to speak," Pril replied as she winked at her boyfriend as she also turned to walk away.

"Okay, until then," Nelson replied as he stood there a watched Pril walk away.

- outside holodeck three, the next morning at 0800 -

Pril showed up at 0800 just as agreed upon and she did not see Nelson. So she approached the holodeck entrance and it did not open. She then had a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see Nelson standing there holding a rose to give her.

"I wanted to get you a beautiful flower but it is merely lost in the beauty of the woman I am giving it to," Nelson stated as he handed her the flower.

Pril blushed and accepted the flower. Nelson then typed in his access code and the holodeck opened to allow the couple to enter.

Once inside, Nelson sealed the entrance as he likes to hike in the buff and Pril was aware of this fact.

"So I hope you enjoy this hike, we should be able to cover about 10 miles before lunch," Nelson stated as he removed his shirt.

"Really, that seems like a lot to ground to cover for a fun hike," Pril replied.

"It should be a nice hike, we covered more that that distance on the ship when we went hiking in the Amazon Rain-Forest program and it was only 4 hours long," Nelson replied as he removed the baggy shorts he was wearing just to get him to the holodeck.

"Well, you know how to get a girl to join you," Pril stated as she then undressed to hike naked with him.

Pril approached Nelson and then go on her tip-toes to kiss her boyfriend like she had wanted to in the corridor.

"Wow, you know how to get to your boyfriend," Nelson replied as he returned the passionate kiss and embraced Pril and slightly lifted her up off the ground a bit.

The stood there making out for a bit and then embarked on the hike.

They hiked along and chatted about the previous mission and how they were constantly working and how that made them long for time to spend together even more.

With the holodeck programmed to have no characters in it, the sounds of nature were soothing and made the couple loose track of time and sort of forget they were on a starbase in a projection.

"Kara, I really like you and enjoy the time we get together. I am very happy you came on this hike with me. I find you easy on my soul. You make me happy just knowing we have something between us. I hope I make you happy." Nelson stated.

"Why Clay, you are the best thing to happen to me that I can remember. I find you attractive in not only a physical aspect but a romantic, charming sort of way as well. You are not only easy on my soul but I do love having you as my boyfriend." Pril replied.

"Kara, I want to take our relationship to the next level and solidify our bond." Nelson then stopped walking and the projection sort of changed a little.

Kara then noticed that the foothills had become a forest thicket with a small area on the ground with blankets and pillows and some Alvanian Brandy and some chocolate covered Alvanian Berries.

He took Pril by her hand and led her to the blankets and offered her a spot near a pillow. He then poured the brandy and offered her a glass. She was sort of speechless. Nelson then sat beside her and clinked his glass to her's. They both took a sip and he then leaned in to kiss her. They ended up spending the rest of their holodeck time making love in the thicket.

At the end of the allowed time in the holodeck, they quickly got dressed so they would not be making the next appointment upset if they ran over.

They exited the holodeck hand in hand and went to get their massages.

-- Starbase 51 spa services --

"Thank you so much for letting me spend the day with you," Pril said to Nelson as they were about to enter the room for their couples massage.

"No, thank you for accepting my invitation and making me a happy man because I have the most beautiful girlfriend," Nelson replied.

They entered the room for their massage to find two large muscled men wearing loin clothes and each is motioning to the couple to lay down on the tables. So Nelson helps Pril on her table and then he climbs on his. The two masseuses then remove the robes from the couple and start to massage the shoulders the couple. Pril is now really enjoying this and she can sort of see that Nelson was not sure about having such a man doing his massage but he was actually starting to enjoy the massage.

After about forty minutes getting their backsides massaged, they were asked to role over and the masseuses then offered each a towel to cover their front sides which Pril accepted. As the one masseuse covered pril, Nelson decided he was alright to remain exposed. The masseuse was okay with it and so the massage continued. After about another forty minutes, the two masseuses were finished and the couple then got their robes on. Pril went on to get her manicure and pedicure, while Nelson decided to go sit in the steam room.

After those were finished, the couple got dressed and then went to the restaurant on the station to get something to eat.

- Restaurant -

The happy couple then found themselves eating some retro food and enjoying the atmosphere of the location. Pril had her very first cheeseburger and Nelson had what was similar to a chicken sandwich. They each had something that resembled an old' Earth Malt and then headed for the Boutique to get Pril a new dress and a few other clothes and such.

- Starbase 51 Boutique -

Nelson had never been inside a boutique before and so he felt like a bull in a china shop. However, he wanted to show Pril that he cared enough for her to do this for her.

He sat in a chair as she comes out of the dressing room with different outfits on for almost two hours. The shop keeper was not worried about the time as he had few costumers since the station started to undergo renovations.

Pril must have tried everything in her size on and some things twice. Then Nelson would just admire her with the occasional disapproval of a few outfits.

"Kara, darling, you just need to get the last five you tried on as you have tried them on five times each. I really mean it. I will use my credits for them because you make me happy and I know that they will make you happy." Nelson stated with the most sincere of tone to his voice.

"Really, I only wanted to get one but they are all so elegant and my size. I really do like all of them. Thank you, honey." Pril stated as she ran over to kiss him.

The shop keeper made the transaction and arranged to have the dresses sent to Pril's quarters on the Tomcat.

The couple then decided to go the Retro dance club to end their day on the Station. They danced until 0700 and then finally retired to a room on the station to sleep for a few hours.

Upon waking, Nelson and Pril returned to the restaurant to get breakfast only to realize was now 1400. They got breakfast anyway and then returned to Tomcat.
