Serena had one thing on her mind...her fighter. Now that her stint with orientation was done, it was time to see about her fighter and possibly to take her out for a spin. *spinning around suddenly* oO Fighter bay is over...Oo * ploughing into a young Lieutenant* "Oh my god!! I am so sorry.....are you alright", Serina said, chuckling.

Lamia had been strolling along not really paying much attention to where she was going, her head was full of what to wear for her evening’s dinner with Chris. She still couldn’t believe she’d asked him to spend the night with her, she wasn’t normally so forward. She grinned as she was suddenly stumbled into or did she stumble into the other woman? “I’m fine to thank you” She grinned. “I wasn’t really watching where I was going or we might not have collided in the first place. I’m Lamia Arderne, I’m new here, just transferring to the USS Tomcat.”

Relieved that the Lieutenant was alright, did she speak, "I am glad to hear you are alright. Hi Lamia, and I am also new here. Just waiting for the Tomcat to arrive as I am one of her fighter jockeys...pilot...whatever you want to call us", she said laughing. "My name is Serina Donavan, happy to meet ya", added. "I have an idea...lets sample some of the station's wares. I saw a cool dress shoppe down the way and I was going to check it out. Trying to find out about getting some nifty threads. You never know if your gonna meet that one time fella", she said chuckling.

"Indeed" Lamia smiled and couldn't help but blush as she thought about her upcoming date with Chris Kildare, a new dress for the occasion might just be perfect. "I think a new dress would be just the thing for me right now. Something decent but not over the top, I have a date this evening and I don't want to overdo it."

"Yes.....I mean really? That is really great *pause* oh here it is....", she said, pointing. "Oh my god, look at that dress.....it is so sheer. That is a dress that would turn heads automatically. However....", she said entering the shop, "This would look more the date type", she said, holding the dress out to Lamia. oO I have to buy that other dress. I have a fish to catch later Oo

Lamia smiled as she looked at the dress Serina was holding out. oO Very nice, it would certainly catch his eye! Oo "I'll try it on" she quickly checked with the store holder to see if she had somewhere to try it on. A few minutes later she walked out of the changing room and did a quick twirl. "So what do you think? Head-turning enough for a date?"

"Oh hell yeah...it is a knockout. It will turn heads alright, including Cmdr. Kildare!", she said chuckling looking at Lamia. oO Honestly speaking, she does really look wonderful and I hope her date does go well Oo "Where are you going or is it a secret?", Serina queried.

oO Oh, it'll turn Kildare's head alright! Oo Lamia smiled. "To be honest I don't know! I guess I'll find out later tonight!" She grinned. "I'm hoping it goes well." oO Well enough to last the whole night. oO "To be honest I can't wait!! Is there someone you'd like to impress?"

"Oh hell yeah....had my eye on him since I got here. A hunk if you ask me. He is one of the flight crew, based here on the station. He works down in the fighter bay. I know he goes to the lounge tonight after his shift and I intend on being there", she said, paying for the dress. oO Baby, this is going to make him and others drool in the process Oo. "I don't want to leave here before I have some fun with the male persuasion. Once I board the Tomcat as CAG, I will lose some of that freedom I have at the moment", *rolling her eyes and chuckling*

“Yeah, we all have some freedom here. I’m not usually so up front with a guy but I just couldn’t help myself this time.” She grinned as she looked at Serina. “I guess when you find someone you like, you just have to grab what you have and hope for the best! I’d like to wake up with the company in the morning!!” She blushed.

Smiling, "Yes that is so true!!! Yet I live for the wild ride with a guy before I get broke myself. Maybe someday I will marry but, not now. I got way too much to see and do before then", she added.

"I'd like to get married sometime I don't have a specific plan as yet though!" She grinned. "As much as I'd like to find Mr right and have a family I don't have it set in stone as to when that'll be."

"Hey I have an idea *pause* why don't we have dinner with our guys and see where it goes from there? The Tomcat isn't due yet so we do have a day maybe two to *giggles* like do the wild thing?". Serina whispered.

"Maybe" Lamia grinned. "I'll have to see what he says on that one! It could be fun though." She giggled. "I'll let you know."

"Bet...talk to you laters Lamia", Serina said leaving the shop with her new dress. oO Now to find that hunk I saw earlier Oo
