Timeline: After the mission briefing

With the briefing over Lamia waited for everyone to file out before catching up with Winchester. They hadn’t had a chance to properly meet as yet so she wanted to properly introduce herself. “Excuse me Lieutenant” She smiled warmly. “We haven’t had the chance to properly meet as yet, I’m Lamia Arderne.”

"Paul Winchester," replied Paul as he held out his hand, he continued, "Nice to meet you, Lamia," as he waited for her to shake his hand, he knew that if he used his prosthetic hand he might break it.

Lamia gripped his hand as she shook it before letting go again. “Likewise Sir. This is my first assignment as Chief of Operations but I plan on making sure everything runs smoothly.”

"So, how are you finding the Tomcat? he asked her as they headed towards the bridge stations to start getting ready for the mission.

“To be honest I haven’t really had a chance to get around the ship much yet apart from finding my quarters and office” She smiled warmly. “From what I’ve seen I think I’ll settle in just fine.”

"well, my advice is to take some time after shift and go explore," replied Paul looking back at Lamia, he continued "as in your job you will need to be able to be familiar with the layout," as he looked back at her. He finished," That's if you would like some help with it?"

“Sure” Lamia smiled. “What better way to learn than go with someone who knows where they’re going. I have served aboard starships before and layouts are generally straight forward but I prefer not to assume I know where places will be.”

"Well then, I'm more than happy to help Lieutenant," replied Paul as he noticed Lieutenant Parker heading towards him, He finished, "I'll meet you after shift Ok?" as he wondered why the Mission advisor wanted to speak with him.

“Yes Sir” Lamia nodded. “I’ll see you then.” With that, she headed on her way.

As Paul watched her leave him, he wondered if she was seeing anyone and would ask her as he thought oO I hope she doesn't think I'm hitting on her, Oo as Lieutenant Parker came to a halt next to him, he said: "Yes Lieutenant Can I help you?"
