Timeline: before Captive State while docked at Starbase 51

This is the final post of Lieutenant Iria Walon as she departs the Tomcat and Starfleet to take care of her long lost cousin, Ryley. She has broken off her engagement to Remington Dodd and departed for a colony of mixed races not too far from the Isisean Race.

- Starbase 51 -

Iria Walon had resigned from her commission and had gathered all her belongings from the Tomcat.

While her heart was broken, she did what she felt she had to do. She had a cousin who apparently came back from the dead. Ryley Walon was back and he too felt the same way. Ryley had thought all of Iria's family were gone in the same accident that took his family.

Now that they were reunited. Iria was going to take Ryley and go live a life that he deserved. She had booked passage to a small planet in the Antedees sector. She had made arrangements to be a psychologist on a small colony on Antedees VI. The colony consisted of a mix of species. This was also the only habitable planet that was close to the Isisean homeworld. It was a colony made up of refugees from other races who were left without a homeworld to return to. Iria felt this was the best place to go. It was in Federation space, but no humans were living in the colony on the planet.

Once Ryley was all packed and the Starbase medical staff fully cleared him to depart the station, Iria had all of their belongings taken to the loading dock to be placed aboard the shuttle going to Antedees VI. Iria and Ryley then moved to the docking bay, but she took a detour to go see Rocky one last time in the arboretum. She felt that Rocky would thrive here and was happy that Dodd made the move for him. She felt bad that Rocky would be away from Dodd, but she knew that Rocky would benefit from this arrangment.

After a few moments with Rocky, she made her way to the airlock and she noticed the Tomcat out one of portholes. She wondered what Remington would do and how he would move onward. However, she also wondered if they would ever meet again and feel the same bliss they shared. Remington made love to her like he was part of her and she knew that he would never have his flesh gliding against hers in such a driven means. She would also miss the way he filled her while having the most passionate of sex. She knew she did what was the best. She had to accept the actions she put in motion and move on.

She then focused on the departure time of her shuttle. She got the airlock and assisted Ryley aboard and to his seat.

Then this old song come to her mind.

She realized that some of Remington was still inside her. He would pop out an old Earth song that summed up how he felt and now she was doing it. She then thought it was a fitting way to depart the life she had. A time for casting away the stones of the past and a time to gather the stones together for a new future. To Everything there is a season and the new season had begun.

The cousins then got told that they would disembark from Starbase 51 in ten minutes and that they would arrive at Antedees VI in 12 hours.

Iria took Ryley's hand and thought to him that she as happy to be opening a new chapter in her life with him in it with her. She also hoped that maybe one day, that her and Remy would find each other again and maybe there could be a renewal of their love but who can say.
