He wouldn’t have much use for the holodeck during the shore leave, as both had to take care of Baby matters with some Doctors on the Base.

Hawksley handed the flowers to his seated Lilli, then planted a nice warm, welcoming kiss on her lips. He broke it and then smiled.

He sang a tune as he went to the kitchen, grabbed himself a replicated red ale, and then took a seat next to Lilli back in the living room. “How was your day today, my Imzadi?” He sincerely was curious. Lilli always had exciting stories from work.

Lilli smiled as she looked at the gorgeous flowers Leland had given her. “It was fine, we had a meeting more of a meet and greet with all the marines. I also had a chat with Mazal, regarding my pregnancy. From here on in I’m restricted to duty aboard ship.”

Hawksley listened to Lilli’s day and relaxed. “That is prudent of Mazal. I am glad. Seeing we don’t have much of a mission left.” He took a drink, remembering the last of his CONN duties on the Tomcat. “I had my last shift on CONN. From now on, you’re speaking to the Chief Engineer of the Tomcat!” Leland beamed and took her hand into his; he held it and kissed it.

“I know you know about my feelings for Mazal. They are feelings. They… I did not stray from my love for you. I hope you know you’re the only one for me. Always.” Leland lent his eyes to Lillie’s showing sincerity, discomfort over Mazal, and not wanting to think about it any longer... “Is everything ok?” Hawksley asked his Wife directly; all that mattered was what Mrs. Hawksley felt.

Lilli nodded and smiled. “Everything is fine, actually I wanted to ask what our plans are for Shoreleave? What would you like us to do?”
