Mission: S3 Episode 5: Diplomatic Incident/Hydaransz Again (Incidentals)

After exiting the turbolift, Paul knew that from a Security point of view this was a tom- tit of a storm for the base security, as questions flowed over his mind, oO how on earth did they get passed the sensors? And How did the alarm not go off when the VIP was kidnapped and who knew and was this an inside job? Oo As he continued to head towards the transporter room, he said to Ze, “Hey, Ze, what do you make of this?” as he glanced back at Parker.

Ze looked over to Winchester, his hand in his pocket "You want my Personal opinion or my mandated one?" He spoke looking around "Whoever this was Paul slipped past our security systems, slipped past my security detail so you ask me if there's someone on this damn ship feeding information to the outside or there's someone in these ranks who turn coated and I intend on finding out either way who or what it was an when I do I suggest you get out of the blast radius," he said with a focused look on his face as they rounded a corner.

“As you're Predecessor, I want to know who betrayed us,” replied Paul looking back at Ze, continued “and they won't know what hit them when I am finished with them” Paul continued to keep pace with the Tomcat’s new Security chief, As they continued down the corridor Paul noticed two Security guards. He asked them “you two, have you been on away mission duty?”

Douglas fell into step easily with the other two officers. "No, sir. This will be my first deployment."

"I've been on one before." Ensign Penny Nielson replied. "What is going on sirs if I may ask? You seem rather serious."

“A Federation ambassador has been kidnapped and we have been sent to investigate it,” replied Paul looking back at both the security officers, “you two are going to be helping sift through all the information that we gather to solve this crime,” continued Paul looking sternly at them both. Finished “Can you do that?”

Douglas nodded the stern look didn't phase his calm almost happy demeanor. Though a taint of worry did cloud his eyes a little. "Aye, sir, which admiral sir? Where would you like us to begin first? We could use an engineer to start a forensic breakdown of the admiral's last known location. It could help provide clues as to where to look next."

Hawksley had followed along with Paul and Ze, listening to their security considerations regarding the events leading to the disappearance of the Federation diplomat. Once on SB 39 Sierra, there was a whole concourse of information and evidence left behind. They would find it.

Leland listened to the conversations now. As an Engineer, he felt sooner or later he might find himself in the Starbase canteen mulling about for information on the lowdown. The interlopers on the base itself, the canteen would be a fertile ground for transiting gossip.

"Okay I can, that is we can do this." Ensign Nielson replied, looking over toward Douglas.


Ze shot a look to Hawksley and Nielson, a look only these two individuals would understand "Liutennant Winchester we will find this evidence as a team we are here following commander parkers orders" he returned with a smile "Security wise though i am the tomcats chief of security as a team we will all filter into our respective roles" the small smile on ze's face returned "If we're looking a for an engineer Hawksley will more than sure get to the bottom of any engineering or forensics tasks"

Ensign Nielson had been around for a couple of months, so had noted that her superior officer, Lieutenant Tosrol Ze seemed to know a thing or two. "Well we can look into things as we go along, it would take more than one set of eyes to pick up anything that may seem out of the ordinary, sirs."

"Forensics involves the mechanical aspects of arrangements to detail and the meticulous cataloging of standard Federation devices, protocol matters, vs. tampered accounts. Thus, I would have a thing or two to add. Thank you, Ze.” Leland shrugged and nodded with a smile at his friend. He walked along stoutly with his Engineering kit.

"Looks like we've got our work cut out then," Penny remarked and looked towards those there as they walked.

Ze got looked around him, he knew these fine fellows he was working with would all do their best, especially Leland with whom Ze had a fantastic friendship and brotherhood. Nielson had proven to be an asset to the security team and she was defiantly one to watch "Nielson if you will once we get to the starbase I'd like to pick your brain on what's going on here as a member of my security team"

"Whilst Parker and I speak to the base commander to get quarters and a place to operate from," replied Paul looking at the rest of the team, as he knew Parker was the highest-ranking Officer on the team. after entering the Transporter room, Paul on the team took their places on the Padd, he heard the transporter chief say =/\=Starbase Serria, I have 5 to transport,=/\=

Leland got on to the transporter as the team did and stood still. Feeling a tingling at first, then a full-on transitory particle deconstruction, and then the reconstruction. The feeling was only a matter of milliseconds as time passed.
