"Commander Sharpe has been assigned here on detached duty to oversee the upgrades and retrofit and he has taken my Chief Engineer for this, but I do not mind as Leland is a worthy replacement. Paul tells me that the ship looks very different with its insides gutted and the hull plating being removed, I just hope they do not find too many stress fractures, the ship has seen many commanders over the years, and I do not think none ever thought of doing such maintenance, still, it is overdue" she pauses.
