Stepping out onto the shopping concourse of Starbase 51 Lilli smiled as she walked hand in hand with Leland. They didn't get to do this very often, which made it all the more special now.

"How's about we go and see what array of shops there is first? there must be clothing shops here, probably not that many but something is better than nothing." she looked around. "What we can't buy we'll just have to replicate, but I'd like to see what we can get first, along with the wood you need."

Leland enjoyed the familiar hand in his, comforting and warm, smooth. Looking forward down the concourse, he nodded. "There seems to be a lot of stores... It is overwhelming, isn't it?"

Passing by a cart that stored ice cream, Leland couldn't help. It was an ice cream cart of old-fashioned earth treats. He turned, gesturing for Lilli to stop. He then asked the server. "We'll take two chocolate ice cream cones." Leland grinned as he then winked at Lilli. "This counts as shopping."

Lilli couldn't help but grin. "It certainly does Imzadi, plus you know me with chocolate ice-cream! in-fact anything chocolate at all."

While Leland was buying their ice creams Lilli had spotted a window she wanted to look in. Right there was not just a selection of baby clothes, but also women's lingerie displayed in the next window, she spotted a little something she knew would make Leland's head spin.

Hawksley took the cones for the both of them. Unable to help himself he licked at his own, while holding Lillis.

He noticed that Lilli already was window shopping, and something seemed to catch her eye. Sauntering over, Hawksley peered at the windows. There was baby clothing, he could tell. Since they were too small to be for children.

Arranged on the display also was a fine selection of delicates, erm, and female lingerie. Hawksley stopped licking his cone; his eyes turned to that of Lilli's, hoping to catch her, scoping out the lingerie. This trip was already proving very worth the while. "See anything you like my dear?" Hawksley spoke with a glint in his eye, as he handed the nice chocolate cone to her petite hands. "I think I spotted something already... But I don't think the baby would enjoy it."

"Ohh I wasn't thinking about the baby" Lilli grinned a wry grin as she took her cone. "Thank you" she licked her ice cream savouring the chocolate flavour. "I have found some lovely baby clothing and accessories here too though."

“Good. Good.” Hawksley replied. He smiled and rubbed Lillis back in contentment. Hawksley was Happy that there was some decent available supplies for a new child, all different things Hawksley had no idea of. Leland followed Lilli as she went through to each new place that held some portion of check list that Leland was accruing, so they would be ready when the newborn had arrived.

Leland took Lilli by her hand, grasping it in to his, as Hawksley leaned in to take a nice kiss from his Wife.

"Mnnnn Chocolate!" Leland laughed.

Lill couldn't help but giggle. "You know Betazoids and chocolate! It's a must in all situations!" she held onto a bag with some choice clothing inside, both for their child and for time spent with Leland. "How's about we go find that wood you wanted?"

“Good.” Leland smiled. He took a bite of his cone and walked along, carrying the bags from the shops they had visited and purchasing items.

Reaching the resource depot, Hawksley used his pass card and access codes to craft and replicate specific wood segments out of maple wood and oak wood. There was the same smell of the freshly cut pieces of wood. In no time, Leland was already fashioning a small but large enough wooden crib for their son on the woodworking press, drills, and crafting tools. Ultimately, he engraved their family name with burning tools, “The Hawksley,” and Lilliana and Leland (mother and father) and the date.

Presenting the work to Lilli as she sat down and watched the woodwork process start and complete within half an hour; she was then given the baby crib. Sturdy, with spindles along the sides to hold the child. It was instead Nordic looking, much like Hawksley.

“For our baby.” Leland smiled as he applied the instant drying varnish, leaving a stainless coating on the freshly constructed wood.

“Will it do?” Leland cocked his head, with a right eye fixed on Lilli.

"Will it do? Imzadi it's wonderful!!" Lilli smiled the biggest smile yet. "I can't wait to see how it looks at home. Speaking of which, how's about we head back? I've done all the shopping I need to do."

Leland nodded. He smiled in return. Hawksley was proud that his Wife had recognized his efforts. Lilli was an excellent partner; they had similar values and determination. Leland then packed the crib onto a transport dock to be later brought to their station's quarters.

"I believe we have some new clothing to try out..." He bit his lower lip as he walked up to Lilli, placing her hand on her side. "And I am not talking about the baby," Leland spoke horned in tone.

Lilli couldn’t help but grin as she nodded. “We do indeed, I’m looking forward to seeing what you think of them.”

- SB 51 The Hawksley's Quarters -

Leland rested as soon as he got through the doorway. The various baby purchases and bags were quite heavy. He set them all down carefully near the living room of the entrance.

Hawksley breathed outward and stretched his forearms upward from the strain of carrying them all along the endless Starbase corridors. However, they were now more prepared to bring in their beloved newborn.

Hawksley winked at Lilli. "I would love to see how that certain article of clothing fits on you... My imagination has been running around ever since I saw it." Leland walked to the kitchenette area and replicator and asked Lilli. "Imazadi. What would you like to drink, something nice and relaxing?"

”Yes Please” Lilli smiled as she set down her light bags on the sofa. “Something refreshing.”

"Of course." Leland smiled as he looked down at his bar glasses. He was an expert in bar tendering drinks. He knew how to make a good drink. He was used to being the drink station during various Starfleet ceremonies from the past vessels he served.

Leland then began to make Lilli a drink and made a drink for himself. A sharp aged Whiskey. Using the tongs to place in a few ice cubes, Leland called "Computer. Play Leland Playlist #3 Rock and Roll."

The computer began to play, the sound level medium in the room enough for them to converse, and the lighting dimmed. Taking a sip of the drink, Hawksley let the Whiskey linger, the burning on his lips as it warmed down his throat.

“I have no idea how you enjoy that stuff” Lilli grinned. “I can’t stand it myself, not that I’d stop you from drinking it. If you like it then that’s what matters.”

Leland set down the drink to the side table in their Starbase Quarters. He then focused all his attention on Lilli in front of him. He wrapped his left forearm around Lilli's waist. She was dressed as ever, a woman showing her proper, beautiful form.

Leland began taking her right hand into his more giant hand as he took Lilli dancing around the small quarter's room, circularly sporting a few backdrops and recoveries back up to Leland, chest to chest. He smiled, his brown eyes watching Lilliana's browns to his.

Leland didn't say anything, enjoying the play, and gave their saunter around the room. At one point, Leland changed the music to ballroom classical, a more sensual dance. Noticing her fine legs in her short-cut dress, she sways in his arms, noticing every feature of her.

Lilli grinned. She was enjoying dancing around with Leland, it wasn’t something they did very often so it made a fun change. “This is fun! We should do it more often.”

“Bet you didn’t think I could dance.” Hawksley chuckled. “We should.” He replied, hearing Lilli’s enjoyment.

“I wonder. He lent his hand to Lilli’s small of her back, resting gently his hand there as they swayed to and thro, the instruments of the orchestra mimicking his movement slowly. Leland reached up and let down Lilli’s long dark hair as he looked at her. “Your hair always looks so good down.” The dancing lets her hair sway with them. Hawksley didn’t say anything… He didn’t need to. The darkness of the room lent in the twinkle of the stars of the outer rim of the Starbase panoramic windows.

Lilli smiled, this was all she ever wanted, to be with Leland. She loved to make him happy, his happiness meant just as much as her own. The silence was a magical one as they danced together.

Lilli and Leland made an emotional connection to the dance, their silhouettes illuminated by the ever-changing hues of the room, and the time seemed to stand as they swayed. Soft, melodic music blended with classical orchestration and futuristic beat resonated from hidden speakers, creating a symphony that wrapped around them in a comforting embrace.

Leland leads Lilli to their sizeable ensuite bathroom. There was a hot tub. “Let's have a bath.” The computer replicates candles and wine bottles, replicates and is situated by the bath.
Just as the computer was told, the large, warm, bubbling hot tub with a panoramic window surrounds the quarters. Hawksley undressed as he winked at Lilli. “Come on.” Leland gruffed. “I think you need a nice back rub.”

Lilli smiled and nodded. “That sounds amazing to me.” She slipped out of her clothing letting it fall to the floor before picking it up and placing it to one side, joining Leland in the bath.

Laying back, Leland had Lilli relax back against him. The smell of roses and bubbles and the twinkling of the stars outside shone through the darkness of the quarter ensuite bathroom.

Hawksley couldn't help but kiss Lilli's back neck softly as he took a nice warm wash towel, warm and sudsy, he washed over her shoulders. Leland smiled, letting his hands gently massage down Lillli's naked body underneath the hot bubbles and suds.

Taking her hand into his, he then kissed it softly, tasting the warm water. Placing both his strong hands on either side, Leland began to knead his thumbs in between her shoulder muscles in a gentle and circular motion, taking subtle cues to do more...

Lilli let Leland know how much she was enjoying his massage, her audible cues let him know. “Mmm...don’t stop Imzadi.” She smiled as she closed her eyes enjoying the physical touch of his hands on her shoulders and back.

Hawksley reached for a bottle of aromatic massage oil nearby, pouring a small amount into the palm of his hand—the oil, warmed by his touch of eucalyptus and chamomile. He began massaging Sarah's shoulders and upper back with tender care, utilising long, sweeping motions.

The warm water, combined with the fragrant bubbles and Leland's skillful touch, expertly traced the contours of Lillis's back, working out any knots or tension.

“Hmmm that feels so nice” Lilli closed her eyes enjoying the massage. “If you ever change career this could be a good fallback career...”

"Am I hired?" Hawksley chuckled. He chuckled, leaning in to smell Lilli's rose-infused water along her neck, kissing it as he did so.

"Most definitely!" Lilli nodded with a grin. "Now who said you could stop?" she gave him a wry smile.

"Aye, Ma'am!" Hawksley winked.
