Mission: General Sim Postings
Location: Holodeck.
Timeline: Right after SB 51 Lounge JP

Thex had a smile on her face as she sat on the edge of the stage a beer in her hands. She'd had a long day getting everything ready for the next mission but now at least she could relax.

She looked around the holodeck at the replicated version of the Green Sea. The dance hall was empty, but she could remember when she first walked through the doors. How nervous she had felt.

She finished her beer lobbing the bottle into one of the bins before she dropped from the stage and began a few stretches.

Serina entered the holodeck with her beverage in its bottle and set it down. She was wearing purple and blue leotards and standard ballet shoes. "Well...how do I look Thex? Will this work or do you want me to add the skirt?" she added, pulling out a knee-length wrap-around skirt in a light purple colour.

" You look great Serina and you can add the skirt if you wish. " Thex replied with a smile. The Andorian herself was dressed in a matching pair of gym skort and sports bra. " Welcome to the Green Sea," she said gesturing around the empty dancing hall.

Serina put on the skirt and twirled around a few times making it flow in the wind.

Nodding to her friend, Thex led the way to the stage. " I have found memories of this place. After dancing here for the first time i realized I could do anything. " She added.

"So, what type of dance are we going to do?" she asked her friend following her up to the stage, she continued" and don't forget I am due to be a Married woman," giving her a grin.

" The ranjomate. " Thex replied as she grinned in return as she did a few stretches " It means blessing to the one who owns my heart. Trust me Paul going to love it."

"Oh cool", said Serina as she stretched out the kinks and did a few moves around the floor. "Oh it feels so good to be dancing again. I feel light as a feather", she added as she swirled around, the skirt gently flowing as she did several pirouettes.

" Glad you feel better. Now Orion dancing of the animal woman does look complicated, but it's a set of simple steps that you just need to memorise and link with the music." Thex explained as her mentor had told her. " So let's start with the first few steps." The blue sapphire said as she did two steps forward before bringing her leg round in an arch. " Like that."

Serina followed suit by taking two graceful steps forward and then brought her leg around in a graceful ballet arch. "Like that Thex?", she said as her skirt swirled.

" Just like that." Thex replied with a smile. " Now we need to add in the hand motions." The andorian added as she repeated the steps only slowly moving her arms in the needed way. It was clear she had done this before.

Serina did the steps as shown, but this time, she moved her hands as Thex had done. The moves flowed from Serina's arms and hands like a graceful flamingo. "How was that Thex?" she said.

"You're doing great Serina. I hope I'm not embarrassing Nainaa and the girls of her team with my teachings." Thex replied giving her friend a smile.

"Oh, I'm sure you're not love", as Serina repeated the steps gracefully again. "Now what's next?", she added.

" Now we do the next step." Thex stated as she began showing the next step in the dance.

Serina followed Thex, dancing as graceful as a ballerina. Skirt flowing, steps looked complicated but she followed them to the letter making it look easy. Finally coming to a stop, Serina sat down. "That was great but I need a rest", Serina said, looking at Thex, "How about you?"

Thex nodded walking over to a round vase on the stage from which she pulled two bottles. " Sythahol?" She asked as she handed one to her friend. "You're doing great. Your a natural at this."

"Nah, I suck. I'm thinking of a ballerina when I dance and I pretend I am one", she said taking a long drink.

" Hey, your doing better than i was when i first started. " Thex reassured her as she took a drink from her own bottle.

"Well maybe not a natural but, I can cut a few steps", Serina said. "Besides it is good fun and you get a good body exercise ", she added taking a good swig.

Thex let out a chuckle. " It's why I dance. It's fun and great exercise. "

Serina looked at her watch, "Oh good lord, damn, I have to get going or I'm gonna be late to shift. Can we pick this up later?", she asked Thex.

" Sure go ahead. I'll see you later. " Thex said as she stood up having finished her beer. " I'll stick around and dance some more."

"Thanks Thex it has been a gas!", Serina said as she gathered up her things and left the holodeck.

Thex smiled as she watched her friend go before standing up. " Computer load playlist Thex three." She said before she started losing herself in the beat of the music.
