[BACK POST] Honeymoon on Risa

Timeline: After the wedding of Chris and Lamia

Lamia was grinning like the proverbial 'Cheshire Cat' as she and Chris returned to their Quarters, they might not have had time to plan a honeymoon but Lamia was sure Chris would come up with something, even if it meant locking the doors shutting the rest of the universe outside for the time being.

She paused outside the door wondering if Chris would want to carry his new bride over the threshold, as was one of the older Human traditions.

As the pair stopped outside their quarters the doors opened before them, he looked at her, "well Mrs Kildare there is only one honour remaining" he said and he picked her up and carried her over the threshold and went in far enough to allow the doors to close as he lowers her to the ground "go get changed into comfortable clothes, I have booked Holodeck one it will have to do as a honeymoon" he added as he headed up to the bedroom to change.

Lamia nodded. “Sounds like a good idea to me.” She followed Chris to the bedroom to change, opening her wardrobe and wondering what to wear. Without knowing where, on the holodeck, they were going for their honeymoon she’d have to take best guess. Picking out a figure-flattering summery dress she didn’t take long to change, matching it with suitable flat shoes she gave herself one final look in the mirror. “Hmmm, nice...”

Chris did not take long to get changed, he came out in Shorts, Sandals a Hawaiian Shirt, and a backpack, "You might want to pack a bikini or something as it will be Risa on the Holodeck" he said looking at Lamia.

“Not a problem” Lamia grinned as she rushed off to change, it didn’t take her long before she returned in an eye-popping Bikini, and matching sandals. A small backpack held her lingerie surprise for the evening, along with her other necessities. “I’m ready to go when you are.”

"Hope you are going to put something over that Mia, I do not want every other male and some females drooling over my wife when they get a look at you," Chris said "I hope you do not mind, but we will be staying on the holodeck in rooms there as it is a holodeck we will have three days at Simulated Risa" he added.

“I don’t have a problem with that, and Yes, I will be covering myself up for the walk to the holodeck.” Lamia turned and walked back towards the bedroom, walking in she picked up a summer dress that she put on overtop of her bikini. “They're all sorted.”

*He smiled* he picked up his bag stood next to her and held out his arm for her to hold "Shall we?" he asked his wife.

*Grinning* We most certainly shall Imzadi.” Taking hold of Chris’ arm Lamia couldn’t wait to start their honeymoon. It was easy to forget that you were on the holodeck once engrossed in a program. She was intending to spend every moment of the next three days enjoying herself.

- Holodeck 3 -

They finally arrived at the holodeck and Chris activated the program and eyed it to his command only "Program Initiated, proceed when ready" the computer said and the doors opened to a beautiful sunny Risa resort, as the pair entered the doors closed behind them immersing them in the illusion of a tropical beach.

Chris looked at his new bride, let us go get booked in also I have adjusted the safety protocols so that too much sun will burn us, so you can get a sun tan if you want" he said and inhaled the sea breeze and the smells that moved with a light breeze.

*Grinning* “I’ll have to bear that in mind so I don’t end up getting too burnt.” She looked around taking in the sights and sounds. “I can’t wait to see what our room is like.”

As he led them to Reception "Booking for Kildare" he said, the Risean behind the desk smiled and tapped something on her computer he looked at Mia "The room is basic for newlyweds" he smiled mysteriously.

A moment later the receptionist hands them a door card Chris takes the item and heads up the stairs they were on the second floor and had a balcony suite, finally arriving on the second floor Chris had a short walk down the corridor and then stopped used the key card on the sensor and the door opened into a luxury single level suite, he held the door open for Mia to enter first.

Walking inside Lamia’s eyes widened at the sight of the luxury suite. She practically ran into the bedroom to see what amazing sight met her in there, the vision of a four-poster bed complete with traditional curtains was the best surprise yet! “Chris, you have to see this!”

*Smiling* Chris joined her in the bedroom "Not a bad bit of programming if I do say so myself, normally The married rooms on Risa are not this flashy, but I took some liberties, figured our few days here we should have something more than a spartan style room, so what do you want to do first?" Chris asked.

“Hmmm now that’s a loaded question” Lamia grinned as she turned to look at Chris. “How about we take a nice romantic walk on the beach? We can save this...” She motioned to the bed. “For when we come back.”

*Smiling* "Let me drop my stuff off then we can go," he said going into the sleeping area and dropping off his small amount of items, then he returned with a small bag that contained two beach towels and some sunscreen as he approached his wife as he held out his hand.

Taking hold of Chris’ hand Lamia’s smile said it all, she felt so special being Mrs Kildare. “Thank you for all of this Imzadi, I’m sorry if it feels like we’ve had to rush to get to this point. I didn’t want you to feel rushed.”

*Shrugs* "The sudden news that you were expecting, kinda put a speed on things and I thought we were being so careful despite our activities!" Chris said and sighed.

They exited the room down the stairs into the reception area out the door and headed in the direction of the shoreline so they could begin their walk along the beach.

“There’s a saying, life finds a way. Well, it most definitely did!” Lamia offered a smile. “To me, it’s a miracle, Chris, after losing my daughter I wasn’t sure if I’d ever be a mum.” She held onto his hand as they walked. “It’s so lovely here, I could quite willingly lose myself in everything here.”

Suddenly feeling sad as he looked at her "You know it has been said as long as one remembers those who have gone onto the next life in their heads, their hearts will never be truly empty as a special place has been made there" he said *sigh* "well let's enjoy our few days here before we have to return to the rat race" Chris said.

Lamia nodded and smiled. "That's very true, and I won't ever forget. Now how's about we stroll along for a little while, and then I'll race you down to the sea!" she grinned a wry grin.

He smiled and nodded and leaned in to kiss her as they walked along the beach.

Holding onto Chris’ arm Lamia couldn’t help but smile as they walked along. She was one very lucky woman.

With that, the pair commenced to enjoy the few days they had been granted for their honeymoon...
