After his meeting with Captain Somers, Dodd felt a little bit of excitement as he was getting a second chance to move on an invention of his.

He got back to his quarters on the station and set up to contact the Nano Counsel of Kavisians on Kavis Alpha IV. He sent a transmission to the counsel and then awaited for a reply.

He was direct with his request and since they had given him permission in the past and it was shot down on his end, he felt confident they would give him the permission once again.

He invited an nano version of an environmental suit that would not only save space but be fully adaptive to basically any situation exposed to. There would be limitations.

This technology would be able to adapt to each individual and allow them to be protected in various environmental settings or even in space. The suit would also be able to perform the duties of a tricorder without the wearer having to hold one. There are many other practical applications as well.

Before the project was denied by the higher ups, he was working on a variation of cloaking which would allow the wearer to blend into the environment as long as they did not move too fast in comparison to their surroundings.

So Dodd decided to take a moment to pull up his data and review it while he waited for a reply from the Nano Counsel.
