When the support craft pilot had left Sam sighed and opened up a secure channel to Roosevelt and Commander Cahill, she made sure the connections were secure.

=/\= Commander Cahill, how are things progressing in the Hydaransz system? =/\= Smithson asked.

=/\= Everything is progressing well. Once we recover the fighters and the away team is back we will continue the course to the Hydransz System and drop off the marines. Once that is done we will go hunting for the Pirate Carrier. Our orders are sought out and destroyed at any cost. =/\=

=/\= Just be careful out there, now as to why I am calling you, two new arrivals will be sent your way a Chief Support Craft Pilot a Lieutenant Jg Margeurite Maggie LeFebvre and Sergeant Connor Sharpe, he will be for Lieutenant Falk, they should take about two to three weeks at best speed. They will be flying to you in a heavily armed combat-equipped Runabout =/\= Smithson said.

=/\= Understood Sir, we are finishing up here where the Pirate Carrier attacked another ship. The ship is dead in space and we recovered all survivors. We should be underway soon. Will drop off Captain Falk and his marines. Then I plan to find and destroy that Carrier before it can attack another ship. They are ruthless and have no respect for any life forms.=/\=

=/\= interesting times ahead then, give the Rats hell for me, also no need to call me sir Commander we are the same rank, so as I can pass the news onto Captain Somers, how are you finding your First Command?=/\= Smithson asked.

=/\= It is quite a thrill and I am feeling like I belong here now. I have an excellent First Officer in Lieutenant Thompson to help keep me from floating around and getting the big head. He makes sure I stay focused on the mission in front of me.

I will put your name and mine on the final shot at the Pirate carrier. So they know we sent it personally. I feel like I was born to command a starship. =/\= Cahill Said.

=/\= From what I have read about command, you have only had a small taste of it, the adrenaline-fuelled part, ask any long-standing Commanding Officer what it is like during the boring times, I did and it made me certain that I do not want a command, but the only advice I could give would be generic and watch yourself out there and nothing is as it seems, not even commanding something for the first time. But I have kept you long enough, just wanted to let you know there are two coming your way, so go careful out there, I do not think Captain Somers is ready to find a new CMO just yet =/\= Smithson said with a smile.

Cahill smiled, Back, =/\= I understand, I have been on the Tomcat for a long time. Sometimes even here on the Roosevelt, I feel myself missing the Tomcat. I plan to be around for a long time. I have dreams of being an Admiral one day. And dreams keep you living on the side of making sure you get to the future. I have learned a lot from Captain Somers and Lieutenant Colonel Somers. I will be watching for the two coming to us as we speak. =/\=

Sam smiled =/\= I would have loved to have seen the crew's reaction to that hehe, well I shall let you go back to work, good luck out there Captain, Smithson out=/\=

With that done Sam signed off and looked at the data discs she had to go through and sighed, so she decided to go on a walk around and leave the reports till later.
